Cựu Đại Tá, Nhạc Sĩ Nguyễn Văn Đông, đã trút hơi thở cuối cùng  lúc 19 giờ 30 ngày 26/2/2018 
(nhằm 11 tháng Giêng năm Mậu Tuất) tại bệnh viện Chợ Rẫy – Sài Gòn, 

Hưởng thượng thọ 86 tuổi.
